This week, our Grade 1 students had so much fun learning English through the topic Parts of the Body. The lesson was filled with songs, games, movement, and fun activities that helped students learn new vocabulary in an enjoyable and memorable way.

We started the lesson by singing the song "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes." The students happily sang along while pointing to each body part. It was a wonderful way to warm up, get everyone moving, and introduce the vocabulary in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

Next, we explored the body parts through a simple presentation. Some brave students even volunteered to come to the front of the class and help present the vocabulary to their friends. They did a fantastic job, and it was lovely to see their confidence grow as they spoke in English.

After that, we worked together to draw a person on the whiteboard. As a class, we labeled each body part in English, with everyone eager to share the correct answers. The students then completed a worksheet to practice and strengthen what they had learned.

The fun continued in the multimedia room, where students played a body parts matching game by pairing pictures with the correct words. They also enjoyed a Quizizz challenge to review what they had learned. Everyone was excited to test their knowledge and cheered each other on throughout the activities.

One of the highlights of the lesson was our drawing challenge. Students took turns drawing different body parts, and their creative and funny illustrations brought lots of smiles and laughter to the classroom.

We wrapped up the lesson with "Peek-a-Boo, What Is This?" Students took turns hiding part of a body part picture while their friends guessed what it was in English. This was definitely a class favorite, and the room was filled with smiles, laughter, and excited voices.

It was wonderful to see our Grade 1 students learning with such enthusiasm and confidence. Through singing, moving, drawing, and playing together, they discovered that learning English can be fun, active, and meaningful. We are so proud of their curiosity, participation, and willingness to try new words throughout the lesson.
